As they say, stars can’t shine without darkness, right? There’s no ‘good’ without any ‘bad’ around. There’s nothing without comparison. Why has anyone become a hero? Because they have fought the evil. So it’s reasonable to claim that the concept of a hero doesn’t exist without the concept of monsters.

Yes!!! Well, I tried to help Olesya with her survey, sending the questions to my kids. And all of them had their heroes. But looking at my survey, I see that almost 50% doesn’t have a hero. I can’t explain it, but maybe the reason is disappointment in our cruel world. I don’t think a hero is necessary for every one of us, but we all need some people that would inspire or motivate us to move forward.
